Answering with word and word sequence.

This quiz contains examples of specifications of correct answers in
the form of so-called non-numbers, i. e. character strings representing
a scalar (or single) value, which is not a number.

Question number 1 . The specification of a correct answer is:
a12B3f
The only correct answer is:
a12B3f
with any number of preceding and trailing blanks.

The value shown is interpreted as a non-number, i. e. a sequence of characters beginning with neither a digit nor a minus-sign.
A non-number normally begins with a letter but certain special characters are also permitted in the beginning of a non-number.
Certain special characters are used for special purposes and are therefore not permitted in non-numbers.

Question number 2 . The specification of a correct answer is:
I have One dog
The only correct answer is the character string:
I have One dog
apart from superfluous runs of blanks.

Specifications and answers are case sensitive.

Question number 3 . The specification of a correct answer is:
croc.
A correct answer is one that starts with:
croc
for example:
crocodile
or:
crochet

The period (or full stop) indicates that the answer is any sequence
of characters starting with the character string before the period
excluding characters not permitted in non-numbers.

Question number 4 . The specification of a correct answer is:
I ha. a croc.
A correct answer could be:
I have a crocodile
or
I had a crochet.
Thus separate words in a sequence may be abbreviated.
Superfluous runs of blanks are permitted before, between and after the words.
