Formula answers written in an algebraic language: Qcmath.

QCmath is a language for answering a question [or part of a question] with either an algebraic expression or a function call with expressions as operands. Notice that answers must be expressions, for example b + c, not complete formulas like a = b + c. Likewise when the answer is a function call. You can write for example sqrt(x^2+y^2) but not z = sqrt(x^2+y^2).

This quiz is about two well known formulas. It illustrates the two ways you can write a formula answer in QCmath.

You may answer the questions one at the time in any order.

Einstein. One of the most famous formulas is Albert Einsteins which for an object in motion expresses the internalized energi by the its mass m and the speed of light c.
Write (not the formula but) the expression for e in the variables m and c:

Pythagoras. Another well-known formula is often ascribed to the famous Greek mathematician Pythagoras, although it was actually known earlier in China. The formula applies to a right-angled triangle and expresses the length of the long side (the hypotenuse) to the two smaller sides. Write this expression when the smaller sides have lengths a and b and square root is expressed with the function call sqrt():
